As well as being a Yoga Teacher, I am also a professional  Reiki Practitioner.

I am very passionate about Reiki & I am dedicated to helping my clients move through a wide range of physical, emotional, and spiritual transitions in the most efficient and transformative way possible. My treatments are specifically tailored to the needs of each client to make sure they receive the approach that works best for them. 

I love to empower my clients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of the healing arts. As a Reiki Practitioner, I enjoy’s being able to bridge the gap between holistic and western medicine while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal.

Reiki, the word, is Japanese. It is written with two Japanese kanji, meaning ‘spiritual energy’

Reiki” (ray-key) is Japanese for ‘spiritual energy and is also a word used to describe a system of natural healing, This tradition was founded by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century in Japan and evolved as a result of his research, experience and dedication. 

Reiki is live or universal energy, all living things need energy. It’s an essential part of our wellbeing, same as water, nutrients or oxygen. Energy is like oxygen isn’t visible but it’s everywhere. If we have plenty of energy, we are happy and can easily be dealing with our daily life. But If there is a lack of energy we feel tired, our mood is low, our mind busy with intrusive thoughts, we can have anxiety, our body is tense and it means we don’t have plenty of energy, it can’t flow smoothly as there are some blockages and we feel disconnected. All these symptoms are mostly caused by stress and stress is the biggest consumer of our energy. Reiki sessions can help to melt away blockages and restore your energies – literally, it will reconnect you, will bring your mind and body back to the natural state.

HOW REIKI CAN HELP?

Reiki does not treat symptoms but works with all kinds of root causes at a subconscious level. Over time, repeated treatments will help to alleviate stress, anxiety and depression, emotional and physical pain, and all types of injuries, illness or trauma. It works on the different levels of our being: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.

Reiki is known to boost the auto-immune system and stimulate the body’s natural healing process. As the body becomes stronger and more balanced, it is then better able to heal or restore itself. 

But we don’t have to be ill to benefit from Reiki, as it enhances mental, emotional and spiritual clarity and we can use it as a powerful tool for our personal development.
